Ten days to go for the Kimberley’s Iconic Festival, the 2025 Boab Metals Ord Valley Muster that starts in Kununurra on Friday, 16 May and concludes on Sunday, 25 May.
The free celebration, Horizon Power Party in the Park, gets the festival underway on Friday, 16 May, followed by a program of events from comedy to culture, music to melodies, that builds to a climatic finish with the Nexus Airlines Kimberley Moon Experience on Saturday, 24 May.

The former Hunter and Collectors frontman Mark Seymour says he loves performing at regional festivals.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the audience standing in front of me. I’m really looking forward to meeting them,” says Seymour.
“It starts in the front. You can see it on people’s faces, the enthusiasm and you can pick it up in a minute.
“I talk to people, engage straight away, make it as personal and intimate as possible.”
The ‘Moon’ offers three ticket options, family-friendly general admission, the luxe Muster Bar and the ultimate experience, the Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner.
The Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner is an all-inclusive glamorous black-tie evening that includes a seated multi-course dinner with champagne and an open bar. The Bishop’s Transport Muster Bar is an exclusive 18+ area that offers dedicated food options, private restrooms, and seating. For families, General Admission is where festivalgoers can bring their picnic blanket and esky.
Music is woven throughout the Muster program, including at Art in the Park, Sunday Sounds, and the Fleetwood Mac & the Eagles by Landslide on Thursday, 22 May.
On Wednesday, 21 May, Art in the Park shines a light on local Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists in gallery under the stars, along with fashion, art therapy, weaving workshops, dance performances and music.
In the spirit of local Sunday sessions, the new Sunday Sounds on Sunday, 18 May is the place to dance the night away or sit back and relax to a toe-tapping good time.
Comedy in the Park is a huge night of hilarity on Tuesday, 20 May with comedians Georgie Carroll, Ben Knight, Amy Hetherington and Mick Meredith.
On Monday, 19 May, the popular Corroboree Under The Stars will deliver a mesmerising night of traditional dance and performance and the cultural experiences continue at the Waringarri Art Experience (some sessions sold out), and at Art, Culture and Cuisine in conjunction with Blak Tapas, both held on various dates. There is also a chance to experience the best of El Questro with a full-day Cultural Tour at El Questro on Thursday, 22 May.
Big brass buckles and cowboy boots will be on show at the Kununurra Campdraft and Rodeo Association’sFrontier Helicopters Rodeo on Saturday 17 May.
Sold-out events include the Exclusive Bullo River Lunch and Station Tour, the inaugural Cliffside Dinner at Lake Argyle hosted by Discovery Resorts, Bottomless Brunch at the lush Emma Gorge, and theLamparangana Fishing Adventures.
A few tickets remain for blissful Yoga Boat sessions in the serene Packsaddle Lagoon.
East Kimberley is filled with ancient, vast plains, cascading waterfalls, freshwater swimming springs and gorges taller than skyscrapers. The sunsets here are beyond beautiful, painting the sky with every shade of yellow, orange and red.
