Our People

Dianne Bortoletto
Founding Director Dianne Bortoletto began her public relations career in London in the late nineties at an award-winning PR agency where she worked on the OrangeArrows Formula One account. There, she learned from the best in the business and loved her job so much that she couldn't wait for the weekend to be over and for Monday to roll around again.
On return to Melbourne, Dianne was on contract at a sports marketing and PR agency before relocating to Perth for the role of PR Manager at Rally Australia, a round of the FIA World Rally Championship. Falling in love with the lifestyle in the west, Dianne worked for Tourism Western Australia in corporate communications and then as the agency's Event PR Manager for over eight years.
Never has she been more fulfilled with work than at Pronto PR where she helps clients - from Government to major events to start ups - with their PR needs. Dianne loves the variety and challenges of public relations, and still gets a thrill when she sees stories in the media that she influenced.
Di knows her way around the kitchen, wishes she could surf, pretends to keep fit and loves the sound of fast cars. Her other loves include a Greek named Zorba, a Westie named Bella, the Margaret River region and all things Italian. She's an ex-chocoholic and is shamelessly addicted to travel and proper coffee.
MC
She's found herself being asked to MC, thanks largely to her bubbly personality, only to discover she's a natural, able to introduce speakers with enthusiasm then step aside to let them shine. Having organised countless events, formulated a million run sheets and written a stack of speech notes and MC notes, Di knows that a good MC sticks to the script adding a dash of personality, keeps an event running on time, makes everyone look forward to what's coming up next and keeps the focus on the guests, not on oneself. Di has been MC at the Western Australian State Tourism Conference introducing the Premier of WA, CEO of Tourism Australia and a number of other high profile speakers to a room of 400 delegates as well as FEASTival, a food festival in Kununurra introducing Merv Hughes, Brendan Pang amongst others.
Dianne Bortoletto is also a freelance writer with published articles in The Age, Good Food, on Broadsheet, Redbull.com, Luxury Travel, Your Margaret River Region Magazine among others and regularly posts on her food and travel blog, travelletto.com
Dianne is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, Australian Society of Travel Writers and the International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association.

Lauren Cornes
Lauren Cornes got her big break in marketing at the tender age of 12, writing real estate adverts for her sales agent father. Her career was put on hold to finish school, and once that was over she discovered another passion – cars.
Cars and motorsport are expensive hobbies, so Lauren worked for Automotive Holdings Group, Department of Industry and Resources, Shire of Peppermint Grove, Perth Racing, Fleetcare and Toyota WA, in an effort to fund her addiction. She was able combine her both passions when she became the Marketing Communications Manager for off-road motorsport rally, Australasian Safari. She's also assisted Volleyball WA and Relay For Life Perth with public relations and marketing expertise.
Lauren enjoys combining both traditional PR and new media to tell an organisation’s story, and seeing the positive results from her creative communication tactics.
Lauren is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.

David Prestipino
David loves working in and with the media. His first goal was to be a TV sports journalist but he turned to gold instead – in Kalgoorlie – where his journalism career began at the Kalgoorlie Miner.
Since then, his career has taken varied and interesting paths from covering beer and wine for Scoop Magazine to editing medical magazines and even writing a book on the business landscape in WA. He has worked on and covered several events, including the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Rally Australia, the Hopman Cup and the Red Bull Air Race, but nothing topped having XXXX Gold with cricket legend Viv Richards.
David helped launch the WAtoday.com.au website when Fairfax Media felt it needed a news presence in the west and, after several years there, joined PerthNow and The Sunday Times, where he became their inaugural iPad editor, before being promoted to PerthNow editor. He was also the company’s wine writer with regular columns published in The Sunday Times and STM magazine.
A proud Italian, David tends to be (fashionably) late to every social event, including the first tee (but never the 19th hole), and has an enduring love for his mum’s Sicilian cooking, good red wine and great company.
David brings a wealth of media experience, excellent media contacts, superior editing and writing skills and can find a good story in just about anything.
