Chef Tony Howell was the headline chef for several of our showcase events in Singapore. Tony’s outgoing personality makes him a favourite with guests, VIPs and media alike. Behind the scenes, he was amazing to work with, happy to accommodate numerous requests and was amenable to last minute changes and challenges that working abroad can bring. Tony is a true ambassador and does Margaret River proud, beautifully showcasing the region on the plate, incorporating produce from the region, in his menus.

Chef Tony Howell proved to be a popular ambassador for Western Australia during our WA China Mission and he was a pleasure to work with. The menu Tony developed for an important stakeholder dinner was centred around WA produce and on the night he delivered an engaging and passionate speech about Western Australia. The restaurant partner of the night – Light & Salt Shanghai spoke highly of Tony’s experience and professionalism. He also had the room engaged during a cooking demonstration the following night at the Gala Dinner. Furthermore, Tony spent time chatting with our guests and was happy to do media interviews, which he approached like a seasoned professional. His friendly and outgoing personality make him a great ambassador and we look forward to working with Tony again.
