- Two 12-course Degustation Dinners by Fervor at new locations
- Lake Argyle Thursday 17 May 2018
- Secret location on Sunday 20 May 2018
- The Chia Co. Yoga Boats expanded with The Chia Co. Yoga Land; six early morning classes
The intimate Degustation Dinner by Fervor has been such a culinary highlight of the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster that this year there are two dinners at new locations, one at Lake Argyle on Thursday 17 May and one at a secret location on Sunday 20 May 2018.
The Fervor team use fresh, locally sourced and native produce to cultivate an unforgettable 12-course degustation dining experience unlike anywhere else.
Crafted with passion and prepared before your eyes, chef Paul Iskov and his incredible team capture the taste and excitement of the Kimberley region with each dish served.
Iskov said he and the Fervor team love the Kimberley and being a part of the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster.
“We’re looking forward to connecting with the local Elders again and learning more about the native produce that grows in the region.
“The native ingredients not only add unique flavours to dishes but also tell a story of the land, giving people insight to the amazing produce that grows naturally nearby,” Iskov said.
“The Ord Valley Muster has a magic to it, the setting feels quite spiritual, it's ancient country and has big open skies - I can’t wait to be back there.”
Attendees in previous years have described Fervor events as “incredible”, “mind-blowing”, “simply stunning”, “magical” and “the Muster highlight”.
Guests will be treated to an intimate dining experience under the stunning East Kimberley stars. Accompanying each course will be a matching wine from renowned Margaret River winery Happs, pouring their Indigenous Series known as the iSeries.
Bus transfers to and from the event are included and there are accommodation packages for the Lake Argyle dinner that start from $458 per person.
The Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster calendar of events has expanded with blissful new additions.
Last year, The Chia Co. Yoga Boats sold out, so this year they are complemented by The Chia Co. Yoga Land with classes at Celebrity Tree Park at 6am on Monday 14 May and Thursday 17 May.
The Chia Co. Yoga Boats supported by Kununurra Cruises will sail to Packsaddle Lagoon at 6am on Saturday 12 May, Sunday 13 May, Wednesday 16 May and Friday 18 May 2018 for a unique yoga class followed by a healthy breakfast.
Yoga is a great way to balance a busy life or event schedule, promote health and wellbeing and it helps to keep the body flexible and strong and the mind calm.
Wendy Jones is a Yoga Teacher trained in the tradition of Krishnamacharya.
“The Krishnamacharya tradition has a breath-based focus and respects the capabilities of each individual. Postures are modified to suit individual needs ensuring that the body is kept comfortable,” Jones said.
Besides delicious degustation dinners and blissful yoga, the multi-award winning Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster line up includes 30 events across 10 exciting days.
Events include a rodeo, a black-tie dinner, music, dance, art, remote open-sky dinners and the region’s biggest belly laughs at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow on Monday 14 May and Tuesday 15 May 2018.
Event goers can save by bundling their tickets to the Melbourne International Comedy Roadshow ticket and the Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience for $140.30* with the Muster Double pass. Be quick because the allocation is almost exhausted.
The Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience on Saturday 19 May 2018 on the banks of the Ord River in Kununurra in Western Australia’s north-east is the region’s biggest party.
The black-tie Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner, a separate ticketed area at the Kimberley Moon Experience, is the Kimberley’s most prestigious and lavish annual event attracting 600 patrons each year.
Since its inception 18 years ago, Australia’s biggest artists including Jimmy Barnes, Paul Kelly, Bernard Fanning, Daryl Braithwaite, Guy Sebastian and Eskimo Joe have headlined the Kimberley Moon Experience. This year, country music rock royalty Lee Kernaghan OAM will headline with The Cat Empire.
The stunning Kimberley landscape deserves to be included as a headline act because of its captivating qualities.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of the Ord Valley, Lake Kununurra, spectacular fresh water gorges, national parks and stunning reserves, the Muster rewards visitors with magical and distinctive experiences.
The host town Kununurra is situated some 800 kilometres from Darwin and more than 3,000 kilometres from Perth.
Luxury travel packages that include airport transfers, three-nights accommodation, a private Kimberley Fine Dining shopping experience, a Triple J boat cruise, and tickets to the Kimberley Fine Diamond Dinner at the Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience start from $1,144 per person.
Travel packages start from $405 per person for land-only, and comprehensive packages including flights, accommodation, transfers, event tickets and tour options start from $960 per person.
The Ord Valley Muster is a nine-time Festival and Events winner at the WA Tourism Awards, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011 and the Kimberley Moon Experience in 2008.
Tickets are on sale now for the Ord Valley Muster in Kununurra from 11 to 20 May 2018.
