The black-tie Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner, the Kimberley’s most prestigious and lavish annual event, has increased in sophistication never before seen in Kununurra.
It’s part of the Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience held on Saturday 19 May 2018 on the banks of the Ord River in Kununurra in Western Australia’s north-east.
Kimberley locals and visitors dress to impress as they dine and dance the night away under a big star-filled night sky.
Tickets to the Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner include river boat transfers, a pink carpet entrance, a celebrity moment, exclusive dance floor, champagne, canapés and a full sit-down multi-course dinner by the acclaimed Heyder & Shears under the stars with bottled Happs Wines.
The Kimberley Fine Diamonds Celebrity Moment enables patrons the opportunity to try on a selection of exquisite Kimberley Fine Diamonds handcrafted jewellery and then pose for waiting paparazzi.
“We are proud to be event partners and this year we hope to bring some extra sparkle to the Kimberley Moon Experience,” said Frauke Bolten-Boshammer.
Kimberley Fine Diamonds is one of Australia's leading suppliers of the world's rarest diamonds, the stunning Argyle Pink Diamond. It has an impressive collection of exquisite pinks and natural coloured diamonds as well as beautifully designed handcrafted jewellery in their boutique store in Kununurra and online.
Ord Valley Events Chair Narelle Brook acknowledged local businesses for their support.
“The Ord Valley Muster has national and international notoriety and the committee and I are not only impressed, but appreciative at the number of local businesses that invest in the event to secure its longevity and maximise the benefits it brings into the whole community,” Ms Brook said.
“Kimberley Fine Diamonds has been a supporter for a number of years and I’m thrilled to announce they have increased their support which will enhance the elegance of the Kimberley Moon Experience.”
Ms Brook reiterated that thriving aviation business Aviair and HeliSpirit increased their support this year to become naming rights sponsor of the Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience.
Since its inception 18 years ago, Australia’s biggest artists including Jimmy Barnes, Paul Kelly, Bernard Fanning, Daryl Braithwaite, Guy Sebastian and Eskimo Joe have headlined the Kimberley Moon Experience. This year, country music rock royalty Lee Kernaghan OAM will headline with The Cat Empire.
The stunning Kimberley landscape deserves to be included as a headline act because of its captivating qualities.
“The Ord Valley Muster is held in Western Australia’s most remote yet most captivating region –simply breath-taking country which has such a connecting force that all who experiences it becomes truly touched by its magic,” Ms Brook said.
Luxury travel packages that include airport transfers, three-nights accommodation, a private Kimberley Fine Diamonds shopping experience, a Triple J boat cruise, and tickets to the Kimberley Fine Diamond Dinner at the Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience start from $1,144 per person.
Travel packages start from $405 per person for land-only, and comprehensive packages including flights, accommodation, transfers, event tickets and tour options start from $960 per person.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of the Ord Valley, Lake Kununurra, spectacular fresh water gorges, national parks and stunning reserves, the Muster rewards visitors with magical and distinctive experiences.
The host town Kununurra is situated some 800 kilometres from Darwin and more than 3,000 kilometres from Perth.
The Ord Valley Muster is a nine-time Festival and Events winner at the WA Tourism Awards, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011 and the Kimberley Moon Experience in 2008.
The Aviair HeliSpirt Kimberley Moon Experience concert will be held on Saturday 19 May 2018 at the Jim Hughes Amphitheatre on the banks of the Ord River.
