The seventh Emergence Creative Festival has been postponed from March to Wednesday 9 – Friday 11 June 2021.
A soon to be announced program of workshops and speakers has been confirmed and will take place across three nights and two days in the lush locale of Margaret River.
Some of the world’s most innovative minds and acclaimed speakers will share their latest revelations, inspiring delegates to tap into new ideas and skills in a series of talks and hands-on workshops.
Tickets already purchased will be carried forward to the new June dates and refunds can be accommodated if required.
Emergence Creative Founder and Manager Trade, Tourism, Innovation & Creative Industries at the South West Development Commission, Mat Lewis, says delaying the conference felt like the right thing to do.
“Amid the recent uncertainty of COVID, we felt it wasn’t appropriate to proceed with an event next month,” Mat says.
“June is an awesome time to be in Margs, and it will be a great compliment to the annual event calendar for the region.”
The ‘anti-conference’ is, at its essence, about discovering new thinking, innovation, sparking ideas, facilitating collaborations. And with a lineup of ingenious leaders in a location that instantly relaxes the soul, it also acts as a reboot for creative thinking.
Touted as the festival for people in the know, Emergence Creative is an immersive anti-conference fusing culture with creativity, described as “the biggest shot in the arm you’ve ever had”.
Tickets are on sale now for the June dates and the full program will be announced in the coming weeks.
