The Kimberley Moon Experience held last night (Saturday 27 May 2017) is the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster’s biggest party.
Aussie rock royalty Jimmy Barnes returned to Kununurra to headline the Kimberley Moon Experience and was hugely popular with the audience as he belted out solo hits including Ride The Night, Ain’t No Second Prize, Working Class Man, I’d Die to Be With You Tonight and also hits from Cold Chisel including Flame Trees and Khe Sanh. Jimmy Barnes headlined the Kimberley Moon Experience in 2011.
Joining ‘Barnsey’ was the legendary Daryl Braithwaite and Country Music superstar sisters The McClymonts.
Daryl Braithwaite who has had an illustrious career spanning 40 years had the crowd singing along to hits One Summer and Horses, as well as hits from Sherbert days including Howzat and Summer Love. He has a recognisable voice, which evidently is still winning audiences over.
The gorgeous McClymonts - Brooke, Sam and Mollie – were popular with the audience belting out their country-style heartfelt stories, irresistible tunes and that unmistakable honesty.
Over 3,300 people attended and partied under the stars.
The black-tie ‘Kimberley Fine Diamonds Corporate Circle’ at the Kimberley Moon Experience is the most prestigious event of the year in the region and includes river boat transfers, exclusive dance floor and champagne, canapés and a full sit-down multi-course dinner under the stars – limited tables of ten and twelve available. The family friendly general admission area is more casual and attendees were encouraged to pack a picnic.
Drone footage and camera footage of the event, the setting, changing sky colours at sunset, the audience, Kimberley Fine Diamonds Corporate Circle guests, atmospheric footage and footage of acts and musicians including Jimmy Barnes, Daryl Braithwaite and the McClymonts on stage features in the Video News Release.
