Book Two, Flawed, is released on 12th March 2019 and Book Three to follow later in the year.
Chota writes young adult general fiction, her stories packed with thriller, mystery and romance themes. They are page-turners leaving readers yearning for more.
Chota says Caught by the Bad Boys was written when she was 14 years old after receiving her first laptop.
“I kept reading the same plot over again, so I decided to write something different,” says Chota.
“It feels amazing to have so many readers who like my stories and leave comments that my words have changed their life or made them think differently. That’s what I want to do, to inspire young people to live in hope, to follow their dreams and to let them know that they are not alone when experiencing tough times.
“I love the whole process, researching ideas, thinking of scenes and plot lines and of course writing,” says the Year 12 Ashdale Secondary College (Perth) student.
Having found her gift for story-telling, Chota has garnered a legion of loyal followers with her thrilling stories and relatable characters.
Chota is currently writing the sequel to Caught by the Bad Boys called Lights Out Boys on Wattpad and additional chapters on Inkitt which have gained popularity to trend on their website.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Chota’s Muslim family moved to Australia in 2015.

I can honestly now say that your book, CBTBB, is most definitely the best work I've read so far, and I read at least 100 books on Wattpad.

This series is honestly one of my favourite series of all time undoubtedly. I absolutely love all the characters and I love theorizing about what’s going to happen.
@Peezy021
honestly you just have some kind of way of making people feel so many emotions all at the same time it's crazy. While reading CBTBB I couldn't stop laughing, crying, faceplaming (yes I did that a lot...)

Love your writing skills and plots and twists, they want to make me cry, smile and be upset at all at the same time because I know this isn't the end, all clues are created in to tie with the whole plot. And I just love it!

I’m Lana, the school geek. The teenage girl with glasses. The girl who boys avoid because her dad just so happens to be the Sheriff.
All I’m interested in is getting into Yale so I can leave this town and everyone in it behind. Until four of the most popular boys in school suddenly show an interest in me…Why? I’m not sure. But when they make me a bet I can’t refuse, I shed the good girl skin I’m in just to prove to them I’m not as innocent as they think I am. Only, things start to go wrong. Really wrong.
As I stare down at the grave in front of me, I know my life will never be the same again— not while I’m caught up in this web of lies, deceit…and murder.
